There are hundreds of terms we could have included in our glossaries, but if a glossary is too long, the rare terms that most people don't want to know about get in the way of the common ones that they are looking up. Also, a huge glossary takes forever to download. For those reasons, we decided to omit...
1. Statistical and sampling terms - except the most common.
2. Software and computing terms - except 100-odd common ones related to the Internet.
3. Philosophical concepts that can't be briefly explained - such as the difference between constructionism and constructivism.
